Welcome & Announcements:
**We welcomed Kaylee Newland to our meeting.
**Those who haven’t paid their dues have an asterisk next to their name on the guild roster.
**10 members have signed up for the retreat in October. We have room for 24. We will open it up to the Denver guild in June.
**We are having a Swap & Shop at Candy’s from 9-noon on Saturday June 28. It will be a great opportunity to clean out your studio!
**Our guild is now being featured in Peak Radar, a local publication highlighting what is going on in the arts and culture world.
**Since we don’t have any volunteers to letter bookmarks on Sunday, we will only letter on Saturday and Monday.
**Nancy Anderson will be teaching Parallel Pen in July and brought a sample sheet of sizes to consider.
**Kathy needs to know the number of members planning to submit work to the Commonwheel Gallery show by our meeting in June. Pieces need to be framed and priced. They will take a 40% commission.
**Ace Hardware cuts glass. Tom has plenty of glass if you want him get a piece from him.

**Tom completed Proverbs 11.
**Kimmi used a brochure she got in Durham, NC and used it as a cover for a poem she lettered.
**Lynn lettered a portion of scripture in Foundational.
Evening Presentation:
**Kathy had lined sheets with proportion-boxes and an exemplar of Roman Caps for each of us. She took her time to demonstrate the basic steps to make an ideal ‘O’- the basis of the Foundational Alphabet. We worked our way thru the Rounds and the 2/3 width letters. She plans to finish the alphabet next month.
