Show & Share:

**We went around the room and showed off the folders we made to hold all of our handouts each month. Candy had half sheets with the year’s presentations all typed up for us to keep track of our schedule.

**Tom has started another year of a quote a day shifting from Copperplate to Foundational.  He plans to take 3 years to copy the whole book of Proverbs!

**TJ brought in doodling she did with the bleached letters/forms done in class in November.

**Jacqui brought watercolor envelopes.

**Cyndi was able to retrieve the Uncial piece she did for her mother and bring it in to show us her lovely work.

Evening Presentation:

**Kathy introduced us to Uncial with a brief history of how Uncial came into use, giving a good bit of credit to St. Patrick.  She had a packet of examples, exemplars, and lines at each seat, along with a nice piece of Arches. She demonstrated each letter starting with the rounds, focusing on any tricky parts, including how to end our strokes by lifting the pen up and off to one side.  I hope we all make an effort to work this hand into some practice work this month! (I failed to take pictures of everyone working in Uncial.  Sorry!  I was too caught up in my own practice of it!)

Folders we made to keep our monthly hand outs!

Envelope sent to Candy!
