Peter Thornton's workshop was wonderful! I learned a tremendous amount, and am using that new knowledge already. Thank you all for welcoming those of us from the north into your guild! I, and I'm certain Sylvia as well, am looking forward to joining you again soon!

Thanks for your help getting on Cecelia, this is great. You had mentioned that there are on line classes. Where did you go to find them. I would love to learn a hand where I feel I can move above the crafter level. I also know it is the time factor and I would need to be commited to practice. Something I need to work on. Any advice is appreciated.

I am reading a really wonderful book by author Lisa Samson. She wrote something that seems to fit in with our journey theme.

Practicing

I have a tip that might make it easier to practice. I have a palette of paint leftover from my Jonah project and I use it almost every time I sit down to practice. Just add water and go. Here's a picture of it. My practice page is looking so-so. I hope to get a little freer and get some lettering that looks like it has life in it!

I'm signed in, up, around, and beyond. I'm not able to make the meetings for a while since I have a yoga class on that same Tuesday. So I love that this blog is started so I can keep up with this most fabulous collection of calligraphers!
